Before beginning the design process, our attention was focused on creating a brand name that spoke to the company’s product category with an unique tone of voice. dein duschdate (”your shower date”) is not only a memorable brand name, but becomes an overarching brand strategy through the personification of products, like the soap bar “Paul”. This idea comes to life in personalized, product-specific communication concepts, as well as the illustrated, handlettered typography. The naming and messaging is honest and straightforward, with a quirky, playful sense of humor that makes it human.
These elements are combined with an elegant wordmark that showcases a slim typography and details representing water drops. The color palette is inspired by nature and includes blue, green and earthy colors. For dein duschdate, sustainability is of paramount importance – the brand expression, therefore, focuses around the use of organic and recyclable materials.
